Lisa Holden Rovers, Founder of Workplace Matters, is an international executive coach and award-winning human resources leader.  She trains and coaches successful professionals to become leaders who spark a thriving team culture. Lisa knows the difference good leadership makes. With over 30 years’ experience as an executive, consultant, and coach, she has managed and developed leaders and teams throughout her career. Since 2005, Lisa has built a referral-based business where she specializes in coaching achievement-focused professionals through the joys and challenges of inspiring, activating, and developing people. Her leadership philosophy is“ listen well so you can lead well”. Listening intently and deeply is her superpower. In addition to supporting clients, Lisa teaches leadership courses at two universities. She also enjoys facilitating Everything DiSC™ and Five Behaviors™ workshops to help teams increase their social and emotional skills so they can build better work relationships and improve team dynamics. When not working, Lisa and her husband Michael enjoy entertaining family and friends at their home in Western Canada or spending time together travelling through the beautiful Canadian Rockies.
